Understanding and responding to the needs and opportunities for existing and new residents within these developments is paramount to ensuring strong, inclusive and resilient communities. To support this work, the City of Sydney has a rare opportunity for a passionate and experienced community development coordinator - Urban Renewal to join our City Spaces team.

In this role you will identify and document the needs and opportunities within these communities, provide advice to support coordinated and strategic planning by the City, foster cooperative relationships between a range of stakeholders and empower local residents and groups to respond to needs within their own communities.

To be successful in this role you will have;

• qualifications and/or experience in community development
• highly developed skills in planning and delivery of community events and initiatives within a strategic framework,
• the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve community outcomes
