Leading the Infrastructure Services Directorate, this senior position provides high level strategic advice and planning across engineering and parks services, operational, technical, waste, infrastructure capital and project management.

The successful applicant will manage a skilled team of professionals and be given extensive scope to formulate new policies, guide a range of Shire projects and exercise budget management. Based in the heart of a thriving community, your focus will also be on maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring a responsive approach to customer service.

This position will appeal to a qualified professional who is creative and motivated in their approach to service delivery. To be considered applicants should hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, high level commercial and communication skills as well as an ability to lead in a complex organisation.

The position is offered under a performance based contract depending on qualifications and experience, with an attractive negotiable remuneration package between $172,000 to $182,000 (Broome and Housing Allowance inclusive) per annum. Other benefits include, but are not limited to; superannuation (up to 12%), restricted private use of a vehicle, five weeks annual leave.
