We are looking for an experienced and innovative engineer to lead our Infrastructure Development team in the development and delivery of capital works programs along with management and coordination of external development and infrastructure works. The team also has a strong involvement in transport planning and traffic management.

As Coordinator Infrastructure Development your key focus will be to coordinate the planning of infrastructure to meet the demands of a growing city through strategic and service planning. The role is also responsible for management of sub-divisional and development permits along with external works impacting on Council infrastructure and services.

In addition, you will provide specialist advice as required and provide assistance with the development of strategic plans, policies and procedures.

You will have extensive experience and relevant qualifications in engineering including design, construction, asset and contract management. The successful applicant will have strong effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and provide direction to a diverse team of engineers and technical staff.
