The City of Greater Bendigo is seeking a Planning Coordinator to lead and develop a team of planning professionals and to deliver high quality development approvals, in accordance with our Council Strategy and the City’s Planning Scheme. You will also be responsible for staff management and coaching, coordinating planning development approvals, consultation, project management and advising and representing the City.

You will have relevant qualifications and substantial experience in statutory planning, or related discipline including an excellent understanding of the Planning and Environment Act 1987, Subdivision Act 1988 and Victorian Planning Provisions with a strong appreciation of strategic objectives and the link to planning controls.

This position will be instrumental in delivering the City’s commitment to becoming the most liveable city in regional Australia.
