We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our industry-leading team of recreation and open space planners dedicated to delivering optimal open space networks for the Greater Geelong of the future.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to best practice planning and delivery of public open spaces. 
• Prepare responses and feedback to development applications.
• Plan referrals and landscape plans.
• Review and advise on open space plans.

Key attributes

• Tertiary qualification in town planning, landscape architecture or a related field.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of, and ability to interpret, town planning legislation and statutory planning processes.  
• Background of successful liaison and relationship building with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Capability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.  
• Ability to support your peers and be a keen contributor to the strong team culture of the organisation.
