Program Leader Environment and Landscape

The successful candidate will lead the functions of:

  • Specialist environmental and landscape support and advice to the Development and Building Services Branch;
  • Council’s private lands and public lands tree officers including approvals to remove trees and urban tree management programs; and
  • Council’s urban weeds program.

The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental management, environmental health, landscape design, arboriculture or a related field.

We are looking for a strong team player who will work as part of the leadership team in the Compliance and Specialist Services Branch.

Experience in staff supervision, program implementation and contract management will be highly desirable.

Limited private use of a Council vehicle is available to the position through a leaseback arrangement, subject to negotiation.

 Salary: commencing at $3879.21 gross per fortnight.
