You will provide specialist advice and support regarding the further development and maturation of Council’s enterprise risk management (ERM) arrangements and oversee and support the day to day operation of a co-sourced internal audit program and execute a small number of assurance projects each year.

You will have a demonstrated understanding of risk management frameworks, their development and maturation. Experience in planning, conducting and managing audits and applying internal audit standards and methodologies demonstrated by a high level of technical skills, knowledge and experience in liaising effectively with executive management and operational staff in relation to presenting audit findings.

Salary:  commencing at $3879.21 gross per fortnight.
