Both of these key, long term visionary documents have deliverables that cross all three teams.

In addition, with planning already underway for the development of a dynamic Economic Development Strategy with a place based, smart city focus, and the ongoing evolution of Council’s flagship event program, this role is pivotal to impacting the development and enhancement of Maitland’s economy and experiences.

The role requires a strategic focus, from someone who also has the practical knowledge to participate in the day to day delivery of initiatives and projects alongside their team.

  • Is an experienced leader with a track record of managing a diverse team.
  • Is a strategic thinker who can also deliver on day to day projects and initiatives.
