An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Manager Corporate Performance to join the Shire of Augusta Margaret River’s Executive team. This is a high-profile position reporting directly to the Director Corporate & Community Services. You will lead a portfolio of business units and provide strategic & operational direction and support for both Council and the Shire. You will need to demonstrate experience and be responsible for Financial & Management Accounting Services, Procurement & Contract Management, Revenue Services, Corporate Services, Information, Communications & Technology, Communications & Marketing, and Customer Services.

A qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce and/ or significant leadership experience in relevant disciplines is fundamental. Extensive strategic and operational leadership experience in relevant sectors is required. You will possess proven financial management experience including the preparation of monthly financial management reports, annual budgets, annual financial reports and long-term financial plans including managing interim & annual audits. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with business performance improvement tools and techniques is necessary. Proven team development and management experience is also essential.
