Whitehorse Manningham Libraries is one of Melbourne’s premier public library services. A leadership opportunity exists at Manningham’s flagship library. The role includes responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Doncaster Library, a vibrant modern facility located in the MC Square community hub. The position also takes a key role in the development and co-ordination of WML’s Outreach Services. This role would suit a strong leader with a commitment to delivering outstanding service to the community.
About the Role
As part of the Branch Management Team, you will play a significant role in the operational and strategic direction of the library service.

Applicants must hold a Working with Children Check card and must be willing to undergo a National Police Record Check. Previous public library experience in a leadership role would be an advantage.
While this position is located at the Doncaster Library, all applicants should be aware that it is a condition of employment that all employees can be required to work at any of the eight Whitehorse Manningham Libraries branches. Rostered weekend work and evening shifts will be required. There are also opportunities to work collaboratively with relevant Manningham council departments and staff.
