The Role

Our Risk and Governance team is responsible for ensuring the integration of risk management thinking into decision-making across the business. This is achieved through protocols, procedures and frameworks that ensure we are aware of the risks, and manage them efficiently and effectively, whilst ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

The Risk & Governance team is a close-knit group who support each other, and the business, to ensure risk, compliance and governance is at the front of all our team members’ minds. 

You will be responsible for:

  • administering Central Highlands Water’s compliance and risk management function and databases;
  • providing oversight to the Contractor Management System; and
  • reporting regularly on key business functions to senior management.

About you

You will be a dedicated governance and compliance professional that is passionate about the positive effect your function can have on the customer experience.

If you’ve got:

  • Tertiary qualifications (diploma minimum) in a relevant field (ie. Governance, risk, law etc.) and/or a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience;
  • Extensive experience in systems administration and digital technologies, including a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in tools and processes;
  • Relevant experience in compliance, risk management and system administration;
  • A high level of computer competency utilising a range of business applications; and
  • Great interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships and rapport with customers and stakeholders ….
