Purpose & Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to carry out the maintenance and construction of Council’s assets and projects within the Council’s standards, policies and procedures, timeframes and quality objectives. The key responsibilities will see you take on a variety of tasks in the department as directed, these will include the operation of assigned vehicles as directed and regular maintenance checks and servicing of vehicles to ensure standards are maintained. You will be required to carry out concrete works, bitumen patching, minor plant operation and other construction work following written and oral instruction while observing WHS, risk and environmental principles. To fit in with our work group you will enjoy teamwork and take pride in your work, It will be an advantage if you can operate basic electronic devices like pc’s, tablets or smart phones

Salary Details Salary will be paid at Councils Salary Grade 4 minimum $22.88 p/h + Super – 76 hours per fortnight
