Contract Manager (City Property)

  • $109,484 p.a. plus superannuation
  • Fixed Term Contract (up to 5 years)
  • Option to work under a 19 day month arrangement    
The City of Sydney is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and performance oriented Contract Manager to manage the City’s Property Service provider.  

The Property Service provider is responsible for all aspects of the property portfolio, managing Investment, Community, Corporate and Public Domain buildings and agreements, while generating annual revenue exceeding $55 million with operating expenditure over $35 million.  

The Contract Manager will ensure that the Service provider adheres to contractual arrangements and will monitor the Service provider’s performance against agreed KPI’s. Manage the relationships between all stakeholders ensuring service delivery is of a standard that adheres to the contract. Balance the expectations of customers and ensure service delivery is timely, realistic, and reasonable and in line with the Sustainable Sydney 2030 vision, policies and strategies, while achieving value for money outcomes.  

The successful applicant will have appropriate qualifications and/or significant experience in property and facilities management, supported by contract management skills and experience. To succeed in this role, the City of Sydney seeks a highly organised individual who is able to set priorities and meet deadlines, identify and resolve conflicts, is customer focused and who demonstrates behaviours consistent with the City's values.
