Do you have a passion for the City of Sydney's parks and the opportunities they provide for connected and vibrant local communities?

We are looking for an experienced contract manager/parks professional to assist the City Greening and Leisure business unit in delivering our objectives as an asset manager in ensuring the City's network of parks, assets and recreational facilities are well managed.

The primary responsibilities of the role are to coordinate and lead contracted service delivery to meet the needs of the community, to maintain the quality of the City's parks and open spaces to the highest standard, manage key relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, deliver outcomes that reflect the core governance and business principles of the City, and to seek continual improvements in open space asset management.

The position will play a vital role in delivering the Sustainable Sydney 2030 objectives for parks assets by ensuring service delivery and compliance objectives are met, by leading the environmental outcomes and performance for the business unit, and through implementing strategies that contribute to the parks asset management plans.

You will have experience in contract management, preparation of technical specifications, report writing, and service delivery. You will be able to clearly demonstrate highly developed leadership skills, an operational understanding of asset management, and excellence in customer service. You will also have experience in project implementation, performance management, bench marking of services, and an ability to work autonomously and coordinate a team of professionals.
