We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled person to manage a small Social Programs team to design, implement and evaluate innovative city-wide programs that are evidence based, result from internal and external partnerships, and which will give effect to the City's strategic directions. The manager will also have responsibility of designing and delivering programs.
A qualification in a relevant social services discipline and /or extensive work experience in the social or community services field, together with understanding of the principles of community development, the design and delivery of community programs, and demonstrated experience in community programming and engagement processes are essential. The successful candidate will have experience in leading and developing teams in a high volume and complex environment and proven ability to balance competing priorities in order to meet deadlines.
