The City of Sydney is seeking a highly skilled, dynamic and experienced Project Manager Sydney Christmas, to join our Major Events and Festivals Team.

The Major Events and Festivals team delivers the City's Cultural Plan through a series of large scale, major public and cultural events including Sydney New Year's Eve, Sydney Chinese New Year, Sydney Christmas, Art & About, and Capital Works launch events.

This position is responsible for the successful planning, management and delivery of the Sydney Christmas Infrastructure and decorative program throughout the Local Government Area.

The Project Manager will be involved in the preparation of project briefs, design and contract documentation; management of contractors, consultants and authorities; administration of contracts and variations; preparation and on-going management of project budgets, including cost analysis, cash flow maintenance and reporting; risk analysis and general project administration.

Working as part of an experienced major event's team, you will have demonstrated experience working successfully with cross functional teams, outstanding planning, organisation and communications skills, superior operations and critical path delivery skills, finance, procurement, legal and contracting and high level administration experience.
