The City of Sydney seeks a senior marketer with a strong content focus to drive and implement the City’s marketing strategy. The scope of the role is multi-faceted, involving high-level strategic thinking, internal and external stakeholder management and solid experience in effective content production.

You will be responsible for managing the marketing for some of the City’s key cultural outputs including public art, history and various creative programs and projects driven by the City’s Cultural Policy. You will require strong negotiation and management skills to help drive key marketing strategies for the cultural pillar.  The role will also provide content marketing support for environmental projects as needed.

The role involves a high level of experience across digital marketing strategy and tactics including but not limited to content marketing, social media content production, paid media partnership management and a proven ability and desire to work to a strategic outcome.   

The position reports to the Marketing Manager, Creative City and Urban Environment. You will have tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline, and/or extensive experience in a senior marketing role.
