The City of Sydney is seeking a dynamic, motivated person with a high level of experience in creative and cultural public programming to join the Cultural Venues and Programs team.
In this role you will develop and deliver program concepts for the City’s library network to engage our diverse and dynamic communities of practice, primarily for an adult audience.
You will deliver innovative programs that promote access to and engagement with creative participation and social connection, as well as with emergent technologies and trends. You will be responsible for researching, developing, implementing and evaluating:
· best practice workshops and talks
· partnership programs
· Late Night Library
· events with a focus on enhancing the communities creative participation, social connection and digital citizenship.
To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in the GLAM sector (gallery, library, archives and museum) or related cultural or educational field, demonstrated skills and experience in developing and implementing cultural public programs, learning programs as well as event and project management. Excellent communication, inter-personal and customer service skills are a must.
