We are seeking an experienced Parks Operations Manager to join our City Greening and Leisure team. This role manages the City’s large multi-disciplinary day labour workforce who maintain half of the parks in the City’s local government area. You will implement strategic directions, align resources, people, systems and processes to deliver high quality parks, open space and street garden maintenance.
To be successful, you will need well developed leadership skills, including day to day people management and long term planning, experience in delivering programs from idea to implementation, and applying the principles of fairness, transparency and productivity to manage performance and drive cultural change.
It is essential that you hold tertiary qualifications in horticulture or a business management discipline, and have demonstrated technical competence in landscape maintenance and infrastructure improvement or equivalent.
