Employment arrangement: Full-time, 36.25 hours per week

Option to work under a 19 day month arrangement

Our Urban Design and Heritage team provides expert advice to internal and external stakeholders at all stages in the development assessment process so that good heritage conservation outcomes are integrated into the design of new developments.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated heritage specialist to join our team and work to maintain the heritage significance of Australia's oldest city.

To be successful, you will have:

• tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Heritage Conservation, Urban Planning, Archaeology or a related discipline with extensive experience in heritage conservation, including the design and documentation of building conservation projects and the preparation and use of Conservation Management Plans.
• a well-developed ability to research, analyse and solve complex and sensitive development issues.
• excellent communication skills for negotiation with internal and external parties and the preparation of comprehensive reports.
• an ability to meet strict deadlines, balance and respond flexibly to competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
