The City of Sydney, one of Australia's premier Councils is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our busy team working on a broad range of visual communication projects.

In this position, you will utilise your talent and exceptional design skills to produce compelling and creative graphic solutions across both print and digital.

You will be working on branding and design projects that are community-focussed and deliver rewarding outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and producing high quality visual communications to support outputs across a variety of different media types and channels, including advertising, brand, publications, exhibitions and social media. This includes oversight of photo-shoots and working with external creative partners.

You will also ensure our high-profile brand identity always stays consistent by providing advice on our visual style guidelines.

To be suited to this position, you will have highly developed time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple and often competing tasks and priorities. You'll have excellent oral and excellent communication skills.

You will have a minimum of 3 years visual communication experience - preferably within an agency environment, be suitably qualified and possess a first class folio that showcases:

• High-level conceptual skills
• Ability to think visually and technically
• Good art direction skills across different media types
• Excellent design sensibility
• High-level typographic skills
• Sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to think strategically, with a thorough understanding of marketing and branding principles
