Reporting to the Manager of Health and Building in the City Planning, Development and Transport Division, this role is responsible for the effective leading and management of the Standards and Policy team.

The purpose of the role is to manage a multidisciplinary team of professionals to deliver expert strategic advice and direction in regard to health and building policies and legislative responsibilities, and to build the future capability of the business unit in the health and building disciplines.

The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership and management capabilities driving multidisciplinary teams in a large organisation. In addition to this, you will need highly developed policy and stakeholder engagement skills, strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.
