Library Support Services is seeking an enthusiastic Library Assistant to join our Library Collections Team.

Working as a Library Assistant on the Collections Team you will be responsible for:

• Accurately end processing and packaging materials (e.g. covering, labelling, stamping, packaging makerspace kits.)
• creating spine labels and other labels
• repairing damaged materials
• AV cleaning and maintenance
• updating library catalogue records
• assisting with collections duties as required
• assisting with Town Hall Express circulation duties
• assisting with desk shifts at library branches across the network as required.

The successful candidate will be able to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently, have skills/experience in end processing and repairing materials and perform tasks with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. The role requires flexibility and willingness to cover shifts at library branches as required.
