The City of Sydney is currently seeking an Occupational Health Nurse who will develop, implement and manage a range of occupational health and injury management programs in order to achieve best practice in injury management and workplace health, safety and wellbeing.
Your main purpose in the role will be to advise and educate managers and employees on a broad range of injury management, health, safety and wellbeing matters and work collaboratively to implement effective injury prevention and management practices and to minimise the incidence of work place injuries and lost time. You will also provide hands-on services to City employees on a range of medical and health and wellbeing issues from first aid to injury prevention and management interventions.
This new position will be based at the City's new Alexandra Canal depot in Alexandria and will also provide services to other sites across the City of Sydney Local Government Area. The role will require the successful candidate to occasionally work outside standard office hours. A City vehicle will be available for travel within the LGA.
