Engineer Graduate - Developments

 

As Engineer – Graduate, your skills will be utilised to assess and determine various forms of urban development related to water supply and wastewater, in accordance with Council's adopted policies and good engineering practices.

About the role:

•Primary focus on development engineering relating to water supply and sewerage infrastructure approvals

•Provides engineering support and input to developing and maintaining water and wastewater growth related strategic programs

Investigating technical issues in relation to development and planning of Council’s Water Supply and Wastewater Conveyancing and Reticulation Systems  

•Limited expose to asset management and minor capital works relating to water supply and sewerage.

•An attractive base salary ranging from $74,202 per annum with competency based increments up to $87,893 per annum, plus 10% super (rates as per Award increase effective 3 July 2021)  

•70 hour, 9 day fortnight

We are seeking:  

•Bachelor of Civil Engineering or related field eligible for membership of IE Aust  

•Problem solving skills, a high level of communication skills and the ability to work independently and in teams 

•Willingness to learn and adapt to various work situations. 

Where it's located: 

This position is based in Tweed Heads Administration Office, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
