We are seeking a highly skilled professional for this role. The successful applicant will significantly contribute to the effective lifecycle management of Murrumbidgee Irrigation (MI) infrastructure, from asset planning to renewals.

Requirements include: relevant tertiary qualifications; experience in asset management and design, preferably in the water/irrigation industry; excellent computer skills; good communication skills and the ability to cultivate good working relationships with stakeholders; and a ‘C’ class driver licence.

Applications should include a Murrumbidgee Irrigation application form and current resume, with a cover letter addressing ability to meet the following criteria. Experience in:

  • preparing and reviewing Asset Management Plans;
  • developing standards and designs;
  • preparing project plans that include clear scope, milestones, risks and opportunities;
  • evaluating quotations/tenders and engaging contractors to carry out the work; 
  • preparing procurement documentation; 
  • championing WHS.
