Customer Service Officer

 

  • Temporary, full-time position
  • Salary range $59,822 to $68,290 per annum, plus 9.5% superannuation

City of Ballarat has an exciting opportunity to join it's fast paced Customer Service Team in a temporary, full-time capacity. If you love providing efficient, friendly and high quality customer service in a busy and challenging environment then this is the role for you.

  • Demonstrated ability to display empathic listening skills and a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be resilient and positive within a fast paced and challenging working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively respond to a changing environment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire a thorough knowledge of the City of Ballarat’s services and procedures.
  • Demonstrated high level of competence in the operation of windows-based programs; and the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of other relevant programs. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the principles and practice of customer service. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
