City Assets Coordinator

We have had some exciting changes due to a merger of our Capital Projects and Assets and Infrastructure teams. Our Delivery & Assets team are looking for a personable City Assets Coordinator.

This role will work closely with the Manager Delivery & Assets to coordinate management of $1.3 billion worth of assets and $140 million capital works programs.

Your ability to cultivate productive working relationships and communicate with influence will assist you in leading a diverse team of professionals, as well as:

  • Coordinate all activities and projects that relate to Strategic Asset Management, administration in accordance with relevant legislation and policies and Council's Strategic plan.
  • Conduct consultation across all areas of the organisation in the development of Council's asset management strategy and deliver actions as outlined in Council's Asset Management strategy.

It is desirable that you hold a Degree in engineering with relevant experience in the development of capital works programs. If you have lesser qualifications that's okay, we would like you to have extensive diverse experience. Local government experience is not essential but you should have an understanding of the legal, socio-economic and political context.

This role is suited for someone who enjoys liaising, negotiating and collaborating with all levels of management, as you will be work closely with our executive and senior management team.
