About the role

You will plan, facilitate and deliver a range of festivals and events whilst working in partnership with the community and a number of Council departments.

 

Duties

  • Devise, develop, market, deliver and evaluate a diverse  range of innovative festivals and events as including Malahang Festival, Twilight Sounds, Kids ArtyFarty Festival, Carols by Candlelight & Boulevard Lights
  • Coordinate project delivery including logistics, programming, infrastructure, contracts and risk management.
  • Work in collaboration with staff to developer other festivals and events – Pinpoint, Movies on the Move & art and cultural, heritage activities
  • Review and develop processes, policies, systems and templates
  • Consult with community groups, residents and stakeholders
  • Report on Risk Management and budgets

 

 Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in a related field or experience in festival or event management
  • Current drivers licence 
  • Working with Children Check
