Departmentally comprising Environmental Sustainability, Strategic Land-Use Planning, Urban Design, Economic Development and Municipal Laws this leadership role is multi-disciplinary in nature.

 

Leading a team of experts, you will think on your feet and seamlessly weave between strategic future focused decision making whilst maximising current operational resourcing to deliver exceptional customer service.

 

Reporting to the Director City Development and forming a part of Banyule’s dynamic Senior Management Team, this role forms part of an integrated, future focused leadership group that is expected to challenge the status quo, deliver award winning results, influence sustainable change and create great places for people to live, work and play.

 

To be successful in the role you will have demonstrated experience in establishing strong partnerships, delivering effective and contemporary community engagement and have worked in a multi-disciplinary leadership role. You will also have the ability to think laterally and have exceptional political acumen.
