We are looking for an Inclusive Employment & Volunteering Team Leader to join our Social Enterprise & Local Jobs Unit in a maternity leave position.

 

Our Local Jobs Team leads policy, strategy and programs that support Councils volunteer workforce and local job creation for the most vulnerable communities in Banyule.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Appropriate qualifications and experience in relevant discipline e.g. community development
  • Experience managing the day-to-day operations of a business unit, including leading and developing teams
  • Experience in policy and strategy development relating to volunteering and/or inclusive employment
  • Proven ability to effectively develop, plan, manage and monitor volunteering and/or labour market programs
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage workflows and work on multiple projects
  • Experience building relationships to influence and negotiate desired outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience consulting and collaborating with diverse communities
  • Sound knowledge of volunteering and the labour market
  • A current driver’s licence
