Council’s City Futures Department was established in January 2022 to coordinate and drive best-practice strategic planning, economic development, open-space planning and property functions in a way that responds effectively to community needs and ultimately maximises community livability.
This exciting role presents a rare planning leadership opportunity within Banyule which is known for its stability and strong workplace culture. The role provides a fantastic opportunity to manage and oversee a broad and unique portfolio of functions that proactively seek to lift community livability now and into the future, through planning policy, program development, advocacy and internal and external partnership opportunities.
