Council is seeking an experienced strategic transport planner who will work with the community, across Council and with all levels of government and industry to improve the transport network within Brimbank. This position will analyse the municpality's transport needs, formulate and implement transport strategies, and advocate on behalf of Council on key transport issues to help deliver optimum transport outcomes for Brimbank. 

To be successful in this role, you are required to have extensive experience in strategic transport planning, the ability to formulate and implement strategies, excellent negotiating and influencing skills and tertiary qualifications in transport, civil engineering, planning or a related field.
