Strategic Planner


The Strategic Planner is part of the Strategic Planning Unit, overseen by the Coordinator Strategic Planning and comprising a two Principal Strategic Planners, Senior Strategic Planner, Strategic Sites Planner and a Strategic Planner.  The Strategic Planner prepares and implements strategic land use plans and policies for Council, including the processing of planning scheme amendments, and supports the functions of the Strategic Planning Unit.

The Strategic Planning Officer will be required to assist with day to day projects within the team, supporting development facilitation, strategic land use planning and planning scheme amendment processes.  Previous experience in a similar role in local government (or industry) is essential, an understanding and experience using  the Victorian Planning System will also be highly regarded.

This is a temporary role up until 30/06/2022.
