Brimbank City Council is seeking a highly motivated Co-ordinator for the City Planning team who has good attention to detail, a strong customer service focus and experience in leading and developing a team of dedicated professionals.

Brimbank has an exciting development future ahead, with Sunshine being a National Employment and Innovation Cluster as well as the first stop on the future Melbourne Airport Rail Link.  Significant investment is expected in the municipality and this is your opportunity to be involved in shaping the development of the area, whilst helping to retain the character and aspects that the locals love.

As one of two Co-ordinators, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of planners, a subdivision officer and administration officers in their daily duties, as well as identifying process improvement and training opportunities.  You will also be responsible for reviewing reports and issuing permits, as well as having input into strategic planning policies and amendments.
