Communications Officer

Colac Otway Shire Council seeks a dynamic communications professional to join its busy communications team.

You will thrive on being creative, innovative and be capable of delivering a fresh approach on a tight budget. Your enthusiasm will be matched by your excellent writing skills, with tertiary qualifications in journalism, public relations or marketing being highly desirable.

You will also display your talent in maximising the use of social media, website content management systems and other communication formats to promote Council’s services, activities and decisions to our community.

Having great interpersonal skills, you will maintain strong relationships with the media, Councillors, staff and partner organisations.
