We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Works Depot team.

Your main responsibility will be conducting inspections in accordance with the requirements of Council’s Asset Protection Program. The successful applicants will also be required to undertake rotations through the different asset permit protection classes administered by the area, including:

• Asset Inspection
• Asset Permit Inspection

You will have:

• Qualification in building/surveying or similar and/or substantial experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting and reporting field asset inspections
• Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience of the assessment of assets and the permit system including vehicle crossing inspections.
• Excellent written, verbal and report writing skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office business applications, GIS software, asset management systems, GEAC and permit system.
• Current Victorian driver’s license
• Ability to issue relevant permits and ensure conditions of permits issued are adhered to.
