Governance Project Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic Governance Project Officer to provide and coordinate the provision of expert advice on a number of key Governance projects and provide ongoing legal support.

The position will project manage the legal service review, develop business strategies, policies and procedures and lead the delivery and implementation of a good governance framework across the organisation.

The positon will report directly to the Manager, Governance and be required to keep abreast of sector changes, provide expert advice and support on governance issue and the interpretation of Acts, Regulations and Subordinate Instruments and policy.

The successful applicant will be experienced in the interpretation of Acts, Regulations and Subordinate Instruments and have the ability to develop relevant organisational policies and procedures as required.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to prepare and present high quality reports is also essential for this role.
