Heritage Building/Assets Adviser

We are seeking a professional and experienced Heritage Building/Assets Advisor to provide specialist heritage advice on proposals involving heritage values and provide specialist technical advice on planning and completing works on the City’s own heritage properties.

You will be required to write analytical reports, prepare Heritage Impact Statements and liaise with Heritage Victoria to ensure that the necessary permits or permit exemptions for City buildings on the Victorian Heritage Register are sought in a timely manner. You will also contribute to strategy and policy development and implementation.

The successful applicant will have qualifications and experience in architecture and/or heritage planning and experience in the redevelopment of heritage assets and their unique requirements along with a working knowledge of relevant legislation.
