The Goldfields Library Corporation was established in 1996 to provide library/information services to surrounding municipalities covering the City of Greater Bendigo, Macedon Ranges Shire Council, Mount Alexander Shire Council and Loddon Shire Council.

Goldfields Library Corporation is one of the largest library regions across Victoria with services extended to a population in excess of 175,000 and hosting approximately 982,000 visitors annually.

Goldfields Library Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership for the organisation by working with the Board of Directors and senior staff to establish, implement and manage the long term goals, strategies, plans and policies of the Library.

Reporting to a dedicated Board the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for providing leadership in a changing environment, formulating strategic vision, improving operational policy and processes, organisational management, ensuring financial growth and implementing governance frameworks.

To be successful in this role you will have significant experience working at an executive level with strong commercial and business acumen and a demonstrated ability to be innovative and strategic in a demanding environment with conflicting demands. Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong financial management experience are essential to this role.
