Greater Dandenong is an innovative and award winning Council which sets high standards for development.  We are looking for a candidate with strong statutory and management skills who can add value to the above position, work in a fully electronic work environment and who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and provide leadership in the assessment and processing of complex statutory planning applications and subdivision application
  • Develop and implement systems to improve work processes and customer service
  • Develop, review and assist in the implementation of policy, processes and procedures to ensure the consistent, timely and efficient assessment of planning applications as per individual work and annual business plans
  • Supervising, mentoring, managing and developing the Statutory Planning staff
