HACC Occupational Therapist

This newly created position will facilitate the development of an innovative and responsive Allied Health Assistance program.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Allied Health Assistance program.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Allied Health Assistants.
  • Implement a new care coordination model.
  • Liaise with other service providers and agencies.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Substantial experience in the delivery of community based services, clinical supervision and goal-directed care planning.
  • Sound understanding the Allied Health Supervision and Delegation Framework, home based care, NDIS and Aged Care reform.
  • Experience using web based technology in care coordination.
  • Track record of building strong networks and establishing service pathways in the aged care/health services field.
  • An innovative approach and ability to implement change.

This is a temporary position to June 2019. Flexible work arrangements up to 76 hours per fortnight will be considered.
