Our Urban Growth Unit manages and facilitates the delivery of the City's urban growth areas, overseeing the administration of infrastructure contributions and strategic land acquisitions, and providing guidance and advocacy in relation to civil and social infrastructure requirements.

Key responsibilities

As Coordinator, you will be responsible for all facets of service and program delivery of the Unit, ensuring the delivery of successful outcomes aligned to Council values and plans.  As a people leader, your priority is to provide effective leadership and role model Council values to the highest level.

Key attributes

  • Exceptional people management skills with demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams to deliver results.
  • Extensive experience in planning, project management or infrastructure management with a strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
  • High level business planning and management skills, with the ability to deliver programs on time and within budget.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation and issue resolution skills.
