Council seeks to appoint a CEO who is very much aligned with the values and vision of the Shire and the expectations of the community. Whilst Council seeks to retain all that is great about this Shire, it is open to a new approach to leadership, innovation and engagement in the delivery of the Community Strategic Plan.

Intending applicants must have already demonstrated high level management and administrative skills and knowledge in a comparable sized organisation, preferably in the Local Government sector. The CEO will be someone who is able to build a positive and outcomes focussed organisation culture and be willing and capable of engaging effectively with elected members, the community and a range of other stakeholders.

Council will offer a contract of up to five years, with a total remuneration package to be negotiated in the range of $240,000 to $280,000 per annum.
