Permanent Position

EnviroCom Australia is seeking an environmental professional to take up the position of Environmental Consultant. 

We are looking for a person with exceptional people skills; a happy, consultative disposition; a focus on internal and external customer service; and, an ability to work and lead in a small team across a diverse range of projects in a fast paced environment.

The ideal person will have qualifications and interest in Environmental Sciences, Communications, or Education (or similar). Approximately three (3) to five (5) years experience in development and delivery of environmental education and behaviour change programs for a range of audiences is mandatory for this position. Existing knowledge and experience in local government or waste education and waste management will be considered favourably.  Planning and research projects will also form part of the role; so accurate report writing and data analysis skills are required.  A willingness and ability to undertake physical projects, such as waste audits and bin inspection programs is also essential.

The position will be based at our offices in Chipping Norton, Sydney with the successful applicant undertaking regular duties in a range of local government areas including (but not limited to)Burwood, Hawkesbury and Liverpool.

This position will require periodic road travel throughout regional New South Wales for up to one week at a time and on weekends.  Flexibility to be away from home and undertake projects out of hours on occasions is essential to this position.

Remuneration will be negotiated according to experience and skills.
