Moreland City Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Senior Property Officer to lead and deliver Council’s “A Park Close to Home” Framework (http://www.moreland.vic.gov.au/park-close-to-home).

This large and diverse community services organisation is located in Melbourne’s inner north and employs over 900 staff, across multiple locations. The organisation is highly regarded for its value driven leadership which is lived everyday by the CEO and leadership team.

The 'Park Close to Home' Framework is a plan to fill open space gaps in Moreland. It is a framework to create and improve access to open space in the areas that need it most within the Moreland municipality. Reporting to the Property Coordinator, you will own the delivery of the Framework and be responsible for securing public open space in accordance with this Framework to meet the needs of the growing community. To achieve this you will possess excellent analytical and planning skills, and bring strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate, drive and inspire and enhance service team performance to deliver the outcomes of the Park Close to Home framework.  You will have experience across property and development sectors and have experience in buying and selling land. You are known for your collaborative approach to the way you work.
