Moreland City Council is located in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne and is one of the most populous and culturally diverse municipalities. Located in Coburg, Moreland City Council is just 8km from the CBD and offers excellent public transport and cycling access for employees.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and manage the Arts and Culture Unit in a municipality renowned for its rich and diverse creative sector. Responsible for the operational and strategic objectives of the team, you will play a critical role in the achievement of service priorities and quality service performance.

Reporting to the Manager Cultural Development, you will have senior experience in a local government context, be aware of the key issues and challenges facing the arts sector and provide excellent communication, strategic thinking and solutions in fostering the arts in Moreland and leading the delivery of Moreland Council’s 2017-2022 Arts and Culture Strategy: Creative Capital.
