The City of Moreland is a fast growing city and home to more than 170,000 residents who are culturally and linguistically diverse, speaking more than 140 different languages. We are seeking a strategic and inspirational leader who is future focused and collaborative, with a track record of delivering results. You will be politically astute, have a strong community  focus and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships that support strategic outcomes. 

You will champion principles of fairness, transparency and participation into interactions with our community and lead how the organisation evolves to more closely meet contemporary community expectations of engagement. You will enhance the organisation’s capacity to deliver high quality customer service, and engagement, and manage Council’s brand and reputation through effective communication and marketing. You will do this by implementation of Council’s newly created Community Engagement Framework, Customer Service Strategy and Complaints Management Framework. You will develop the organisation’s capacity to better assist and enable community led initiatives, through triage and brokering with the appropriate parts of the organisation. You will ensure excellent service to your internal customers while also working across the organisation to embed desired practices.
