Moreland City Council is located in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne and is one of the most populous and culturally diverse municipalities. Located in Coburg, Moreland City Council is just 8km from the CBD and offers excellent public transport and cycling access for employees.

We are seeking a customer service and administrative specialist to assist in delivering support for our elected representatives.

As the Mayor and Councillor Support Officer you will assist both internal and external customers with a wide range of enquiries, information and advice relating to Council services, through the provision of information, redirecting the enquiry to the appropriate Council staff member or entering a customer service request. You will also undertake a wide range of administrative duties for the Mayor and Councillors and the Governance and Civic Protocols Unit including purchasing processes (purchase orders and invoices), writing routine correspondence, data entry and coordinating travel arrangements.

Your commitment to exceptional customer service and knowledge and confidence with relevant administrative software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (basic) and customer request tracking and purchasing systems  will assist in your success.
