Moreland City Council is located in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne and is one of the most populous and culturally diverse municipalities. Located in Coburg, Moreland City Council is just 8km from the CBD and offers excellent public transport and cycling access for employees.

You will work as part of the Strategic Transport and Compliance team reviewing escalated infringement review matters involving parking, animal management and local laws.

What you will bring:

You will have experience in producing high level written correspondence in response to customer complaints and requests.  You will have a thorough understanding of the Road Safety Road Rules 2017 and Infringements Act 2006 to assist the Compliance team with complex internal reviews.

Vital to your success in this position will be your attention to detail, use of initiative, motivation and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a broad range of people.  

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in law enforcement or a tertiary qualification in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or Business Administration or equivalent and high-level computer skills.
